My husband and I went here on our honeymoon and it turned into one of our favorite breakfast places in San Diego. We recently took a couple family members when we visited and everything was just as amazing as before. Each time we were seated very quickly, service was on point, and the food was beyond fantastic. They also have a gluten free menu and vegan options. Sitting outside on the patio is ideal, but most people are waiting to sit outside so you have a better chance getting a table if you choose to sit inside.

Great service, quick seating, good food. Pancakes were good, loco moco was just okay (lived in Hawaii so I'm a tough crowd), and the rancheros Verde was good. Coffee was good too. Loved the atmosphere! Definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing food. Not really a fan of eggs but this egg burrito was perfect (added bacon, because everything is better with bacon). I highly recommend this place.

The best part of waking up is Mission on your plate. Corny? Maybe. But it’s exactly how I felt after starting my morning at Mission. With both indoor and outdoor seating, the wait was short—even for a weekend breakfast spot. You seat yourself, and within seconds, a friendly staff member was at our table. One woman seemed to be running the whole floor like a pro, with quick help from a man bringing dishes and drinks out. It was impressive to watch. Now, the food—wow!!! It came out fast, hot, and fresh. I had the House-Made Cinnamon French Toast with eggs and bacon. Every bite was perfectly fluffy and flavorful—I honestly didn’t want to stop eating, even when I was full. My co-worker had the Baked Banana Caramel French Toast, which was just as delicious (I stole a bite, of course). The portions are generous, and the prices are almost too good to be true for the quality and quantity. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with killer breakfast, don’t sleep on this place. Just wake up and go.

This place is arguably the best breakfast spot in SD for me. I love the food here. The employees are super friendly and the building is very unique. The building is an older house and it really is a cool experience eating here. I always walk to this location, so I don't know much about the parking situation but can imagine it is hit or miss as this spot is right in the heart of east village. It is worth the effort to come here tho at least once!

After looking all over downtown for a breakfast spot, I stumbled upon this hidden gem. The food here was amazing, and a menu with a wide variety of options to really satisfy anyone that you're with. Fair warning though, if you do decide to come here (which you definitely should) you need to bring your appetite! For the price, the portion sizes were huge. That included the specialty coffees. The staff here were all amazing and super attentive to top off the experience. I would recommend this place to anyone!
